Built first for VACSO
In 2023 I started VACSO, a deep tech project focused on turning low carbon and green steel R&D into real products. As VACSO grew, I realised the hardest part was not the science. It was keeping track of what was happening, what had already been tried and what actually needed to happen next so that the hours I was putting in would turn into real progress.
AI tools were taking off at the same time, so I tried bringing them into the business. They could write and summarise and offer general direction, but they did not understand VACSO or what we were trying to achieve.
So I began building a small system around them. Something that understood our projects, our documents and our goals and could give grounded answers instead of generic suggestions.
That internal system eventually grew into WIYD, an AI system built from the same challenges many people face: trying to make progress without losing track, without getting overwhelmed and without drifting away from the things that matter.
